The Running Order

Easy — logic-grid deduction puzzle

The hall screen was wiped before anyone copied the running order, so the ushers must rebuild the day from memory.

It was the last day of the world heritage committee's meeting, in a hall by the water in a port city, and four speakers were still waiting for their turn: Jiwoo, Dohyun, Yuna and Junho. The day had four sessions, morning, midday, afternoon and evening, in that order, and each speaker had one of them. Each asked the committee to protect a different place, and each handed the hosts a different gift as a thank-you. But before anyone thought to copy down the running order, the big screen in the hall had been wiped clean. Now the ushers have to put the day back together from what they remember.
