Very Easy — logic-grid deduction puzzle
Steam from the kettle smudged the call-out board at the snowplough garage, so Quentin, Rosamund, Silas and Tabitha have to piece the night back together from what they remember.
Snow had been falling since dusk, and the ploughs at the garage were warm and ready. Quentin, Rosamund, Silas and Tabitha sat by the radio with mugs of tea, waiting. One by one, the dispatcher called them out, and each driver went to clear a different route: the bridge, the hill, the market or the dock. She wrote every call on the board by the kettle. Then the kettle boiled over, steam rolled up the board, and the names ran into grey smudges. Nobody can read it now, but the drivers still remember bits of the night, and the bits fit together.
Read the clues, rule out what cannot be, and prove what must be. Every GRIDIGMA puzzle is verified by a solver that shows the reasoning behind each step, so a solution is never a guess.
